You can open a document using any one of the following ways:
Double-click on the file in Caja or your file
manager.
Double clicking PDF, PostScript, .djvu, .dvi and Comic Book
Archive files opens them in Atril by default.
Right-click on a file icon in Caja and click
Open WithAtril.
If an empty Atril window is already open you can:
Drag a file into the window from Caja. The new file will
open in a new window.
Press the Open… button in the top-left corner of
the window. In the Open Document
dialog, choose the file which you wish to open, and click
Open. The file will open in a new window.
If a document is already opened in a Atril window you can:
Drag a file into the window from Caja. The new file will
open in a new window.
Press CtrlO. In the Open Document
dialog, choose the file which you wish to open, and click
Open. The file will open in a new window.
