Trash Introduction The &applet; applet lets you manage your Trash from the panel. The trash on your panel acts identically to the trash on your desktop, however it is useful because your panels are always visible. Adding &applet; to a Panel To add the &applet; applet to a panel, perform the following steps: Right-click on the panel at the place you want to add the applet. Choose Add to Panel. Scroll down the list of items in the Add to Panel dialog, then select Trash. Click Add. For more information on working with the panel, see the Desktop User Guide. Usage

Moving Items to Trash To move items to the Trash, drag them from the file manager to the &applet; applet. Emptying Trash To permanently delete all the items in the Trash, right-click on the applet, then choose Empty Trash . Opening Trash To open Trash, right-click on the applet, then choose Open Trash . The Trash window opens in Caja file manager.
