	 <title>Introduction</title> 
<para>
The <application>&applet;</application> applet lets you manage your Trash from the panel.
</para>
<para>
 The trash on your panel acts identically to the trash on your desktop, however it is useful because your panels are always visible.
</para>

<sect2 id="trash-introduction-add">
<title>Adding &applet; to a Panel</title> 
  <para>To add the <application>&applet;</application> applet to a panel, perform the following steps:</para>
    <orderedlist>
      <listitem>

          Right-click on the panel at the place you want to add the applet.
        </para>
      </listitem>
      <listitem>
        <para>
          Choose <guimenuitem>Add to Panel</guimenuitem>.
        </para>
      </listitem>
      <listitem>
        <para>
          Scroll down the list of items in the <guilabel>Add to Panel</guilabel> dialog, then select <guilabel>Trash</guilabel>.
        </para>
      </listitem>
      <listitem>
        <para>
          Click <guibutton>Add</guibutton>.
        </para>

	<title>Moving Items to Trash</title>
	<para>To move items to the Trash, drag them from the file manager to the <application>&applet;</application> applet.</para>

	<title>Emptying Trash</title>
	<para>To permanently delete all the items in the Trash, right-click on the applet, then choose
		<menuchoice>
		  <guimenuitem>Empty Trash</guimenuitem>
		</menuchoice>.

	<title>Opening Trash</title>
	<para>To open Trash, right-click on the applet, then choose

		  <guimenuitem>Open</guimenuitem>
		</menuchoice>. The Trash window opens in <application>Caja</application> file manager.
